What It Is
Much Ado About Juliet is the first book in Disney's Minnie & Daisy Best Friends Forever book series. The book is published by Disney Press, an imprint of the Disney Book Group. The book focuses on the original BFFs Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, but back when the girls were tweens and before they met Mickey and Donald. In the book, Minnie can't wait to try out for the production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at Mouston Central school. But it's not because she loves Shakespeare, but because she has a huge crush on Paul Poser, her dreamy classmate who is always the lead in every school play. And if Minnie wins the role Juliet, she gets to kiss Paul, on stage!
She recruits her BFF Daisy to help her memorize Juliet's lines and is confident she's a shoe-in! But then, in a twist of events, Daisy gets the role. Feeling betrayed, Minnie stops speaking to Daisy. Girls can read on to find out if Minnie and Daisy make amends before the curtain goes up and if Paul Poser is really as dreamy as Minnie thinks he is.
