What It Is
Preschoolers can practice counting, addition, or subtraction with the Counting Fruits & Veggies Ring Flash Cards. Each of the 26 cards features different fruits and vegetables: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, radishes, cantaloupe, kiwi, corn, watermelon, tomatoes, asparagus, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, cherries, peas in their pods, carrots, apples, pineapples, pears, and bananas. On one side of the card you'll see a number that corresponds with how many fruits or vegetables are on the front side of the card. Some of the cards show an addition or subtraction problem using the fruits and vegetables on one side, and on the other side, kids will find the answer to the problem. You can also use the cards to practice sorting by color or type. Because a re-closable ring holds the cards together, they can be kept together easily (always a plus) or easily taken along for on-the-go play.
