What It Is
The 007 Aston Martin DBS MI6 R/C is a toy replica of the car driven by James Bond in the movie Quantum of Solace. This model, along with an Aston Martin DB5 and a Lotus Esprit (sold separately), are being released in conjunction with the new James Bond movie Skyfall and the franchise's 50th anniversary. The Aston Martin DBS MI6 features a wearable watch-style remote control that triggers full-function driving action with working lights. Using the controls on the remote control, kids can make the car go forward, backward, left, or right.
Why It’s Fun
The 007 Aston Martin DBS MI6 R/C doesn't go exceptionally fast. This is not a high-performance radio control car. It's really more of a collector's item for people who are into James Bond and/or want a cool-looking car with a unique watch remote. We found the watch controller somewhat awkward, however. In order for the car to turn left or right, you have to press one of two controls at one time and, if you're wearing the watch, it can be a little awkward.
Who It’s For
The 007 Aston Martin DBS MI-6 R/C is for James Bond fans and R/C car fans ages 7 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
