What It Is
Since the introduction of the original Rubik's Cube, the Rubik's brand has been used for a variety of other puzzles. The Rubik's Void Puzzle is the latest in that line. It's a cube, with the center taken out—hence the void. The object is identical to the original: scramble The Void's rings, then try to restore the cube to it's original six sides with only one color. The Rubik's Void Puzzle has different colors than the Rubik's Cube: green, pink, red, yellow, blue, and orange.
Why It’s Fun
Like the Rubik's Cube, The Void is challenging and addicting. Kids and adults who are intrigued by this kind of puzzle-solving will enjoy the unique challenge that The Rubik's Void presents. For others, it will be frustrating.
Who It’s For
The Rubik's Void Puzzle is for ages 8 and up.
What To Be Aware Of
What makes this different from the original Rubik's Cube is that there is no fixed center piece that dictates the color each side should be. That means there are more potential solutions, and it's more challenging to identify which side should be which color. It takes a lot of patience and time to solve this puzzle. Kids who are not intrigued by this kind of play may find this overly frustrating.
