What It Is
What It Is
Preschoolers can make Cookie Monster sing with the Squeeze-a-Song Cookie Monster. Give Cookie Monster's tummy a squeeze to open his mouth and hear him sing two songs: "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star." (Cookie Monster doesn't sing the words to these songs. He just sings "la la la" to the tunes.) Kids can control the volume of the singing by changing the pressure on Cookie Monster's tummy. The harder you squeeze, the louder Cookie Monster sings. Cookie Monster also says different phrases when his tummy is squeezed.
The company says that the toy helps children with fine motor skills and introduces them to cause and effect.
Why It’s Fun
This is a cute and easy way for preschoolers to interact with a favorite Sesame Street character. They enjoy being in control of how Cookie Monster sings and experimenting with the different ways they can control the experience.
Who It’s For
Squeeze-a-Song Cookie Monster is for ages 18 months to 4 years. The toy will appeal more to children on the younger end of this age range.
