What It Is
What It Is
The dancing penguins return in Happy Feet Two, a sequel that follows Mumble's son Erik as he tries to find his talents. The dancing comes off the big screen with several electronic dancing characters, including Dancing Amigo Ramon.
Ramon has 18 sayings and plays his own music. When you talk to Ramon, he will respond and chat. Press the dance button to hear a song and watch Ramon dance. If you press the dance button twice, Ramon will flap his wings and dance to any music or sound.
Other characters in the line include Dancing Erik and Dancing Boadicea. Each is sold separately.
Why It’s Fun
Kids will like all the interactivity they can have with Dancing Amigo Ramon. From chatting to dancing, this electronic penguin brings the character and the dancing fun from the movie to life.
Who It’s For
Dancing Amigo Ramon is for ages 4 and up. While penguins have become very popular as pets since the introduction of the first Happy Feet movie, this toy is likely to appeal most to real fans of the character.
What to Be Aware of
Dancing Amigo Ramon comes with four AA batteries, but these are for in-store demo purposes. Thinkway recommends replacing the batteries before you play for best results.
Ramon works best on a smooth, non-carpeted floor. Clear the area of delicate or breakable objects because Ramon will move around a lot while dancing.
When chatting with Ramon, make sure you are at a close distance and speaking in a normal tone to maximize the voice recognition capabilities. (Smaller kids often shout at the toys, which makes the recognition imprecise.)
After a short period of inactivity, Ramon will go into sleep mode to preserve battery life.
