What It Is
Mr. Noah and His Family is just back in print with the same simplicity and illustrations from the Little Golden Books original edition in 1948. The story is so simple ... a little girl guides readers through a rhyming narrative about her favorite toy, Noah’s Ark.
Why It’s Fun
Little Golden Books have been a childhood rite of passage for generations, and Random House has brought many of the classics back to life. Toddlers and preschoolers will love to “read” along and identify their favorite animals. It’s a fantastic cuddle time and learning book, and kids will want to hold onto their copy for their own children. This re-release definitely has the trademark charm that has kept us reading Golden Books over and over again.
Who It’s For
The publisher’s recommended age range is 2 to 5 years, but this is such a charming book, why wait? If your baby won’t tear at the pages, give it a try at any age.
What To Be Aware Of
There is also an e-book version at the same price, but I’m partial to the hardcover to capture that classic Golden Book feeling.
