    Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure is the latest video game starring everyone’s favorite fire-breathing, purple dragon, Spyro. This time around Spyro is joined by a gaggle of monster buddies in an all-new story-based adventure. Players will take on the roles of Spyro and his buddies, who are collectively known as the Skylanders, as they set out to rid a floating realm of an evil entity called Kaos.

    Apparently, the penguins from The Penguins of Madagascar, the Nickelodeon TV series, have formed some sort of special opps team and are now tasked with saving the world...or the zoo...or some place from an evil dolphin named Dr. Blowhole. Who knew a bunch of zoo animals led such exciting lives? It’s up to Team Penguin and their newest member, the player, to foil Dr. Blowhole’s sinister plan.

    Just Dance Summer Party is the latest release in the Just Dance franchise, which now includes Just Dance, Just Dance 2 and Just Dance Kids. The Just Dance games are games for Wii where the players have to mirror the dance moves of an on-screen character. Summer Party, which is billed as a Limited Edition game, came out this summer and includes 23 tracks featuring current and past hits.

    Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension

    Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension is an all-new game based on the Disney Channel’s animated series and first-ever, original movie. The game continues and expands on the storyline of the movie and lets kids play as their favorite characters from the series including Phineas, Ferb, Agent P and a new character introduced in the game, Agent T.

  • Labyrinth

    Labyrinth

    Labyrinth is a new game from Mentor InterActive, a company that develops and promotes children’s education software and learning technologies products. Labyrinth is a puzzle-solving game in which kids have to move a ball through a maze as they try to reach a treasure before their opponent. For each level, the first player to reach all their objects first will win that level. The catch is that in order to reach the objects, players have to shift the rows and columns that make up the mazes by placing new pieces into the mazes.

    Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions is a collection of six, 3D games based on two of the most popular classic arcade games ever, Pac-Man and Galaga. Dimensions includes both original arcade games exactly as they appeared back in the old arcade days plus two classic editions of the original games—Pac-Man Championship Edition and Galaga Legions—and two brand new games developed exclusively for the 3DS.

    Don’t worry about movie spoilers in this review of the new game based on the final Harry Potter movie, Deathly Hallows Part 2. I haven’t seen the movie yet and I’m holding off completing the game until after seeing the movie. Fortunately, I have played through enough of the game to tell you all about it.
