Apparently, the penguins from The Penguins of Madagascar, the Nickelodeon TV series, have formed some sort of special opps team and are now tasked with saving the world...or the zoo...or some place from an evil dolphin named Dr. Blowhole. Who knew a bunch of zoo animals led such exciting lives? It’s up to Team Penguin and their newest member, the player, to foil Dr. Blowhole’s sinister plan.

  • The Holiday 2011 Power Ups List

The Holiday 2011 Power Ups List

Video Games and gamers have continued to take over the living room (versus being relegated to the basement) as the first generation of kids to grow up with video games in their homes are now introducing their own kids to what is still one of their favorite pastimes. Game developers and publishers are responding by creating more and more great games that are fun for parents and adults to play with the kids in their lives.

  • Nicktoons MLB

    Nicktoons MLB

I think we are heading into baseball playoff season. I’m not a fan of the sport, but I do like video games and I also like animated shows, which is why I thought that playoff season (Will someone please tell me if that’s happening now?) would be a great time to review Nicktoons MLB.

  • Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Don’t worry about movie spoilers in this review of the new game based on the final Harry Potter movie, Deathly Hallows Part 2. I haven’t seen the movie yet and I’m holding off completing the game until after seeing the movie. Fortunately, I have played through enough of the game to tell you all about it.

  • Cars 2: The Video Game

    Cars 2: The Video Game

The reviews for Cars 2, the movie in theaters now, haven’t been too good. I haven’t seen the movie (And judging by reviews, I may wait a bit.), but I have played the game and can tell you without doubt that it’s fun. Cars 2: The Video Game is a racing game in which you select a vehicle from among the cast of characters from the Cars world and then compete on race track locations around the world—which pretty much mirrors the plot of the movie. The races are filled with hidden short-cuts, power-ups and over-the-top racing stunts that make this a wacky and entertaining racing game.
