My daughter is a computer-a-holic. She has an array of “toy” laptops. She loves working along side her daddy and mimic him on his laptop. We were super excited to review the Vtech brilliant creations beginner laptop.
This is a board game similar to others but with a unique twist - a roll of the dice determines how you will proceed. We tested it out during a slumber party with my older niece and her friends, and it was a riot.
Let me start this review by saying this is probably the coolest, yet most unnecessary toy I’ve ever seen. Carter, my seven year-old, is obsessed with zombies. He can play plants vs. zombies on the computer for hours. He even wanted to ask Santa for a chain saw so he could help in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, he’s got issues. Anyway, when we got the HandRunner, He was in hog heaven! His very own severed zombie hand. What more could a kid ask for?!
I broke out this game when my 9 year old had three friends over. They had a blast with it. The game is a lot of fun and kept them busy for a few hours.
An iPhone/ITouch case holder that is basically indestructible and allows your child to use their apps on it.
My kids are video games fanatics. They have wii’s (yes, plural), PS3, DS’s, iPods and more. They love just about anything to do with video games. We got the Golden Tee Deluxe plug-n-play and they couldn’t wait to get started.
We got quite the surprise a couple weeks ago with an early snow storm in Colorado. Our old sled was broken so the boys were a little upset. I had just gotten two Spooners in for review so I thought we’d test them out in the snow.
My boys saw the original MindFlex game last Christmas and started begging for it. It was pricey and I didn’t think they would be interested in using it more than a couple times, so I held off. Recently I was sent the MindFlex Duel to review, so the boys were very excited.
The ages for this game say 8+, so my 8-year-old and I played it. She liked it. The object of the game is to build up your “city” on a grid. Each player has the same set of Tetris-like pieces, and a deck of cards randomly directs you to add one of the pieces to your grid on each turn.
My son loves Spongebob Squarepants. I actually think he is pretty fun too (except for the theme song that ALWAYS gets stuck in my head), so we were excited to review The Spongebob Tub Adventure set from Matchbox.
