Where’s That Chipmunk?
What It Is
Where’s That Chipmunk is a new game for children ages 3 and up that is a spin-off of the traditional game of hide and seek! It comes with a cute stuffed chipmunk that you hide. The object of the game is to be the first player to find him. There are 3 different ways to play but because our toddler is about to turn 3 we decided to only do the beginner game (there are beginner, advanced and team play rules). After hiding the chipmunk you provide clue cards (there are indoor and outdoor clue cards to use as well as ones you can make up on your own) to the players. The first player to find the chipmunk gets an acorn. The first to get 3 acorns wins! It even comes with a cute scorecard to collect the acorns. Very easy set up with no assembly required.
Why It’s Fun
The fun thing about this game is that it’s different every time since you hide it somewhere new. It has an adorable chipmunk to find and it’s easy for younger children to play since no reading is required. Our toddler loved trying to figure out the clues and was very excited when he would find the chipmunk! It was interesting to see the progression - the more we played the better he got at understanding and following the clues!

What to Be Aware of
There are small pieces included that are a choking hazard. You do have to have 2 or more players for the game and it works better to have an additional person to hide the chipmunk - so more like 3 players. If your children are on the younger side you will want to be the one to hide the chipmunk and provide clues for the players since that may be a bit advanced for them.
